Workshop on role of women in building peace and local development

A workshop on the role of women in building peace and local development in Tripoli was held on Sunday in Tripoli. The workshop targeted a group of women activists in Zuwarah, Misrata, the South, Yafran and Mount Nafusa.

“In this workshop, we tried to create a suitable environment for bringing together different components of the local community to exchange experiences and initiatives in peace building”, said project director Hussam Ben Rabaa. “We also discussed several international decisions in the areas of local development.”
