The National Oil Corporation and TotalEnergies discuss cooperation

The CEO of TotalEnergies Patrick Pouyanne has received in his office in the French capital, Paris, the Chairman of the National Oil Corporation Farhat bin Qadara.

Both sides discussed the strategy and activities of the multi-energy company in Libya, and the strategic agreements being implemented and signed with the Libyan authorities in November 2021 for the sustainable development of the country’s natural resources.

Pouyanne expressed his company’s full commitment and desire to launch new investments to increase Libyan oil and gas production for both the domestic and European markets.
