CEO of the General Electricity Company meets the German ambassador to Libya

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Electricity Company, Wiam Al-Abdali, held discussions with the German ambassador to Libya, Michael Ohnmacht, on the joint cooperation between the General Electricity Company and German companies working in the field of electric power.
Both sides discussed ways to speed up the operation of the emergency power projects of West Tripoli and Misrata, which are implemented by a coalition of German company Siemens and Turkey’s ENKA.
They also discussed the possible ways to conduct urgent and emergency maintenance of some power turbines and develop the electrical grid in Libya, in addition to the possibility of benefiting from the experience of German companies in the field of solar energy.
