Protesters closed Mitiga Airport-Tajoura road

A group of protesters closed the road linking Mitiga Airport and the suburb of Tajoura, east of Tripoli, on Saturday using sand barriers and burning tires.

A wave of protests against the deterioration of basic services and poor conditions has escalated in Libya.

The protesters expressed their anger over the poor conditions and demanded the departure of all political bodies and expedite national elections.
