Al-Menfi meets with the European Union Ambassador to Libya

The Head of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Al-Menfi, held a meeting with the European Union Ambassador to Libya, Jose Sabadell, in Tripoli on Tuesday to review joint Libyan-European files.
Sabadell briefed Al-Menfi about the agenda of the upcoming African-European Summit in Brussels.
Al-Menfi assured Sabadell that the Presidential Council stands at the same distance from all parties and institutions, and is working for the implementation of the national reconciliation project as a top priority agenda.
He said that the current crisis is legal and constitutional that must be addressed as soon as possible, adding that the elections are the only way out of the crisis.
Al-Menfi stressed that the Presidential Council continues to lay down a general and practical framework to expel mercenaries from Libya.
With regard to the migration crisis, Al-Menfi said that the migration is a common file as Libya is the gateway to Africa for the Europeans, and it is the gateway to Europe for the Africans.
