The HNEC condemns the military interference in its work by a presidential candidate holding a foreign nationality

The High National Elections Commission (HNEC) published a statement on its website regarding the declaration of force majeure.

In the statement, the HNEC condemned the threats by a presidential candidate holding a foreign nationality to use military force against the HNEC and its staff.

The statement indicated that some candidates have also forged their university degrees, explaining that the HNEC is committed to holding free and fair elections that lead to a peaceful change of power.
