UNICEF Libya and Libyan Wings signed a partnership agreement

UNICEF Libya and Libyan Wings signed a partnership agreement in Tripoli on Thursday.
UNICEF Deputy Special Representative to Libya, Cristina Brugiolo, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Libyan Wings, Ziad Farhoud, signed the agreement.
Brugiolo expressed to the Libyan Cloud News Agency her happiness to sign a joint cooperation agreement with Libyan Wings and to launch the “UNICEF for every child” campaign, noting that among the objectives of the UNICEF are the protection, welfare and support of children around the world.
She added that in order to achieve these goals and work on them, UNICEF seeks to sign agreements with appropriate partners and the government, in addition to intensifying efforts to work with the private sector.
For his part, Farhoud confirmed that the company has many previous initiatives directly related to supporting children, and that the partnership agreement with UNICEF, which is the first of its kind, aims to support the welfare of children and their access to equal education.
It is noteworthy that UNICEF works with a number of United Nations and international agencies to support the provision of basic services in 24 Libyan municipalities, and also it continues to implement humanitarian and development programs to respond to the increasing protection needs due to the ongoing conflict and the effects of the Coronavirus pandemic.
