UN envoy to Libya visits IDPs center in Tripoli

The head of United Nations Support Mission in Libya, Ghassan Salame, and his deputy for political affairs, Stephanie Williams, visited a center for IDPs in Ben Ashour district in Tripoli on Wednesday, January 15.

Salame said that all UN agencies are ready to provide assistance to the IDPs.

He expressed his hope that the forthcoming Berlin Conference on Libya would bring a permanent cessation of hostilities.
