Libyan Cloud News Agency – Cairo
The Special Adviser to the Secretary-General on Libya, Stephanie Williams, said that the joint constitutional track committee of the House of Representatives and the High Council of State ended its work in Cairo on Monday, June 20, and achieved a lot of consensus on the controversial articles in the draft Libyan constitution.
Williams indicated that there are differences regarding the measures regulating the transitional phase leading to the elections, calling on the presidencies of the House of Representatives and the High Council of State to meet within 10 days at an agreed upon location to overcome the outstanding points.
