Political salon in Benghazi on the future of Libya

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, in cooperation with the Media and Culture Authority, organized a Libyan political salon and a cultural symposium on the future of Libya in Benghazi after the fighting about Tripoli.

The symposium discussed different topics, the most important one were the international variables and their reflection on the Libyan situation, and the role of media and culture at this stage. The discussion was attended by a number of academics, researchers, students and those interested in political affairs. The salon continues throughout the month of Ramadan to come up with a set of recommendations and decisions to raise its output to future decision makers.
