Al-Manqoush attends the 156th consultative meeting of the Council of the Arab League

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Najla Al-Manqoush, participated in the 156th consultative meeting of the Council of the League of Arab States at the ministerial level, which started in Kuwait on Sunday.

The Arab foreign ministers reviewed ways of coordinating the positions of the Arab countries in facing regional and international challenges, and how to develop Arab cooperation mechanisms.

Al-Manqoush briefed her Arab counterparts about the efforts of the National Unity Government in achieving security and stability in Libya, calling for Arab support for the success of the democratic process in Libya.

She also talked about the plans to expel mercenaries, and foreign forces from Libyan territory to promote peace in the region.
