A protest in front of the Central Bank of Libya

Bitris Movement organized a protest on Wednesday in front of the Central Bank of Libya in Tripoli.

The protesters demanded in a statement the Central Bank to reform the banking sector and provide liquidity to citizens.

They also rejected the decision of the Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Libya related to unifying the exchange rate of US dollar at 4.48 dinars, demanding to reduce the rate and to open a transparent investigation into the issue of wasting public money during the past nine years.
