Martyr’s Day celebrated in Tripoli

The General Authority for the Welfare of the Families of Martyrs, Missing Persons and Amputees held a celebration to commemorate Martyr’s Day, which falls on September 16 of each year. 

The celebration was held at Al-Khold Palace in Tripoli, in the presence of the Authority’s Chairman Mahmoud Al-Hari, Minister of Labor and Rehabilitation Ali Al-Rida, and Mayor of Tripoli Center Municipality Ibrahim Al-Khelaifi.

During the celebration, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Ministry of Labor and Rehabilitation, Ministry of Civil Service and the General Authority for the Welfare of Families of Martyrs, Missing Persons and Amputees to provide job and training opportunities for the families of the martyrs and missing people.

The celebration included an exhibition of pictures of martyrs from all Libyan cities.

Minister of Labor and Rehabilitation Ali Al-Rida said in his speech that the government attaches great importance to the file of the families of martyrs, missing persons and amputees, adding that he had issued instructions for granting 10% of job opportunities to the this group of people.
