Doctors perform a rare surgery in Tobruk to save a patient’s leg

Doctors at Tobruk Medical Center have conducted a professional surgery for a 38-year-old patient.

The patient was shot in the upper thigh causing a severe laceration.

The medical team implanted a vein to replace the damaged artery to avoid leg amputation 

The operation lasted seven hours and was supervised by surgeon, Moataz Abid.
