The launch of the house loan program

A press conference was held at the government building in Tripoli on Sunday to announce the launch of the house loan program and other services for citizens.

Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, Minister of Local Government, Minister of Youth, and Minister of Housing and Construction participated in the press conference, in addition to the Director of the Health Insurance Fund, the Manager of the Savings and Real Estate Investment Bank, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Zakat Fund.

The Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs said that the house loans are free of bank interests, and the required conditions and the application process will be announced by the Savings Bank during the coming period.

The Director of the Health Insurance Fund said that a health insurance will be granted to employees from the ages of 55 to 65.

The Minister of Youth stated that the first phase of the program will target 25,000 young people to distribute 8000 houses and grant 3000 loans.

The Minister of Local Government said that the first phase will also include the distribution of 1500 plots of land in the eastern region, 3500 in the southern region, and 3500 in the western and central regions.
