Mellitah Oil and Gas Complex reopened after brief shutdown

Security guards of the Mellitah Oil and Gas complex in Zuwara closed the complex for 30 minutes on Wednesday demanding their financial dues.

Zuwara Municipality and elders of the city intervened and convinced the guards to reopen the complex.

Mellitah Oil and Gas Complex is a joint venture with the National Oil Corporation that supplies Italy with 8-10 billion cubic meters of gas every year.
