Business Technology Banking Forum held in Tripoli

Business Technology Banking Forum was held in Tripoli under the auspices of the Central Bank of Libya and Jumhouria Bank.
Minister of Finance of the National Unity Government Khaled Al-Mabrouk, Chairman of the Council of Economic and Social Development, and a representative of the Central Bank of Libya attended the two-day forum.
The forum’s agenda included a visual presentation of the history and activities of Libyan banks.
In his opening speech, Minister of Finance said that this forum is an opportunity to exchange experiences and dialogue and put forward visions in the field of developing the banking and financial sector.
Al-Mabrouk noted that the Ministry of Finance has made a great way in order to shift towards financial digitization for development and improve the level of performance, and its keenness to address topics Financial and banking in order to shift towards financial digitization to keep pace with the world in financial development.
The general manager of Dana Company Abdel Hamid Qaddoura told the Libyan Cloud News Agency that this event is the first of its kind in Libya, and it has international participation from Tunisia, Morocco, Jordan, the Emirates, and Turkey.
He said that the forum aims to raise the level of banking services, quality, improvement and advancement with its services, and facilitating procedures with customers and turning them towards financial digitization, keeping pace with global developments in this field.
