A workshop on Sokokuu held for businesswomen

The Libyan Businessmen Council organized a workshop in Tripoli on Saturday on Sokokuu, an e-commerce platform for the African Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA) area.
The officer-in-charge of the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA) at the Ministry of Economy and Trade, Abdullah Al-Jadi, told the Libyan Cloud News Agency that the workshop support businesswomen by giving them a brief overview of the COMESA and introduce them to Sokokuu platform to know how they can start their business in Africa.
The head of the Businesswomen Committee at the Tripoli Chamber of Commerce, Ibtisam bin Amer, explained that this workshop was proposed by COMESA to raise awareness of AfCFTA and clarify the laws and regulations that organize it.
