A military meeting held in Tripoli

The first military meeting between the Defense and National Security Committee of the House of Representatives and the military commanders of the Libyan army was held in Tripoli on Wednesday.
The Supreme Commander of the Libyan Army Abdullah Al-Lafi, the First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, the commanders of the military zones, and the Joint Military Committee 5 + 5 attended the meeting.
The participants discussed plans for the unification of the military institution.
They also discussed a set of subjects including the ceasefire agreement approved in Geneva, the problems that contradict the current military legislation, the extent of commitment to the instructions of the Supreme Commander of the Army, and the organization of the regular and backup military forces under the umbrella of the Chief of Staff.
In his speech, Al-Lafi expressed his hope that this meeting would come out with recommendations that contribute to unifying the military institution to ensure that the upcoming December elections are held on time according to the vision of the Presidential Council, including the exit of foreign forces from all Libyan territory.
