The ambassadors of Spain and Austria visited Ghadames city

The ambassadors of Spain and Austria paid a visit to Ghadames city and held an expanded meeting with members of the Municipal Council and some government and security agencies in the city.

The Spanish ambassador praised the good reception and hospitality and expressed his full readiness to pursue the available means to strengthen relations between the municipality of Ghadames and the Spanish municipalities.

He declared that he will work on the reactivation of the agreement concluded between the Ghadames municipality and the Spanish municipality of Elche, which was signed in 2008and included provisions for promoting cooperation in the field of date palm cultivation

For his part, the Austrian ambassador expressed his happiness to visit Ghadames, which is the first visit to a Libyan city

During the visit, the two ambassadors toured the Women’s Training Center and some tourist attractions in the city.
