The Italian Interior Minister visited Libya

The Head of the Presidential Council, Mohammad Al-Menfi, met with the Italian Minister of Interior, Luciana Lamorgese, in Tripoli on Monday.

During the meeting, Al-Menfi stressed the importance of Libyan-Italian cooperation in various fields, especially in security, illegal immigration and border security.

For her part, Lamorgese stressed the depth of bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries and the need to strengthen them.

The meeting also dealt with ways of reactivating a number of joint agreements between Libya and Italy.
