Russian Deputy Foreign Minister and newly-appointed UN Special Envoy for Libya held telephone talks

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov and newly-appointed UN Special Envoy for Libya Jan Kubis held a telephone conversation on Friday to discuss the development of the situation in Libya.

The Russian Foreign Ministry reported in a statement that both sides stressed the importance of further coordination of the international community’s efforts with the leading role of the UN in order to promote the Libyan settlement and establish an inclusive and sustainable political process with the participation of all key actors in the country.
