Political salon in Benghazi continues

The weekly political salon series at the Tibesti Hotel in Benghazi is being held under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Libyan Interim Government in cooperation with the General Authority for Media and Culture. “The War on Terrorism and the Role of the Media” was the topic.

The session was attended by a number of local and international journalists, including Italian journalist Vanessa Thomassini, and some academics, researchers, politicians and students interested in politics. It is noteworthy that the political salon continues every Thursday evening throughout the month of Ramadan.
