Launch of national health survey program at migrant shelters

The National Center for Disease Control (NCMC), in cooperation with the Anti-Illegal Immigration Agency, the World Health Organization (WHO) and the International Organization for Migration launched a national health survey program on Tuesday. The program aims to provide a free screening service for all migrants, workers, officers and the police in the shelters. The screening is meant to detect cases of diseases so that the people can be treated with medicines for each case or even isolated when needed due to an infectious disease. “We start in Tripoli because it contains the largest number of shelters and all centers will be transferred to all cities for a comprehensive health survey.
