Al-Manqoush meets the acting Head of UNSMIL

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Najla Al-Manqoush, has received the acting Head of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL), Raisedon Zenenga, to discuss the latest developments in the political situation in Libya.
Zenenga reiterated UN commitment to continue efforts to support a fair and transparent political process led by the Libyans to build peace to ensure the holding of national parliamentary and presidential elections in accordance with an agreed constitutional framework.
Al-Manqoush thanked Zenenga for his condolences for the victims of the Bint Bayah fuel tanker explosion, stressing the need not to politicize humanitarian services for any reason.
Zenenga welcomed the positive efforts that led to the lifting of force majeure and the resumption of oil and gas production from Libyan ports and their return to normal production and export rates.
