World Water Day observed in Libya

The Ministry of Water Resources held a celebration on Tuesday to mark the World Water Day, which is celebrated on March 22 of each year.
Prime Minister Abdel Hamid Al-Dabaiba and the Minister of State for Water Resources Tariq Abu Filaika attended the celebration.
In his a speech, Al-Dabaiba stated that the world suffers from the problem of a lack of drinking water.
The program of the celebration included a visual presentation on the reconstruction projects and drilling of wells.
The World Water Day is an annual event that aims to raise awareness about the importance of water and educate people to conserve it. This year, the focus is on groundwater, an invisible resource with an impact visible everywhere.
