The Libyan Midwives Association for Motherhood and Childhood Care, in cooperation with the National Center for Disease Control, under the supervision of the Ministry of Health of the Government of National Accord GNA launched the October World Awareness Campaign on Monday. It is also called “The Pink Month”.
On the sidelines of the campaign, a scientific symposium was held at the Teachers Syndicate in Tripoli in the presence of the Minister of Health, Commissioner Omar Al Bashir, and the participation of doctors, specialists, consultants and interested persons, and those who had experience with this disease.
The seminar program includes presentations on breast cancer, early detection and treatment and the role of medical imaging in the early detection, as well as and psychological intervention and its role in the outcome of the disease.
