The press conference of spokesman of the Government of National Unity

The spokesman of the Government of National Unity, Mohamed Hammouda, held a press conference in Tripoli on Thursday to brief journalists about the results of the 10th cabinet meeting.
Speaking about suspending the Ministers of Education and Culture, Hammouda stressed the importance of ensuring the independence of the judiciary and respect for the rule of law.
Regarding the delay in printing school books, he said that the government formed a ministerial committee which opened a public tender for printing the books, adding that the printing companies pledged to deliver the books within 30 days.
He concluded that the Council of Ministers abolished the Anti-Crime Agency and conjoined it with the Criminal Investigation Agency, and agreed to establish an institute for forensic medicine affiliated with the Ministry of Justice and the Environmental Police Agency under the Ministry of Environment.
