Al-Menfi and the German ambassador discuss the political process

The Head of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Al-Menfi, held a meeting in Tripoli on Thursday with the German ambassador to Libya, Michael Ohnmacht, to discuss the latest developments in the political process in Libya.

Both sides reviewed during the meeting the file of the upcoming presidential and parliamentary elections and the chances of holding them on time, in addition to ways of building confidence among all parties participating in the political process and the efforts of the Joint Military Committee 5 + 5.

Al-Menfi affirmed his full keenness for the success of the elections and the national reconciliation project to achieve peace and security in the country.
