The National High Electoral Commission (HNEC) has launched a training course in cooperation with the International Organization for Elections (IFES). 30 trainees and trainees from all the cities of Libya started the training on Sunday in Tripoli.
It is a three days training on education and awareness of the election. “This course on electoral education includes all electoral offices in Libya with the aim of developing a strategic plan for the upcoming referendum campaign to enable all offices and education supervisors to ensure the effective participation of this program”, said Radaia Al-Madani, Director of Education and Awareness at the Supreme National Electoral Commission. Therefore the legal framework, the referendum, the principles of electoral awareness, electoral awareness and voter information, and communication between the offices and the Commission and more were topics of the training.
