A number of people gathered at Algeria Square in Tripoli to protest the deteriorating living conditions and poor services.
The protesters demanded the Presidential Council to adopt urgent measures to resolve the crises of power cuts, water, fuel, and garbage. They also called for an end to corruption and urged the Attorney General and the Ministry of Interior to investigate corruption cases and arrest the corrupt people.
The protesters appealed to the international community to exert pressure to resume oil production through the National Oil Corporation.
